The B-52 active subwoofers ACT-18XV2 is designed to power an additional passive sub. The passive subwoofer ACT-18XSV2 has the same physical dimensions as the active model. Connecting the active subwoofer to an additional passive sub increases the amplifier’s available power output from 800 to 1200 watts.
